The exciting MultiCam MG CNC milling machine. This expensive piece of hardware is what cut the new panel. Closeup of the first few holes cut out of the new panel. The new panel cooling down after the powder-coat paint was baked on.

Brian, from Avion Research, does most of the finishing work on the panels (sanding, painting, silkscreening). Rennai, from Avion Research, doing the artwork for my panel. Brian performs the painstaking task of blocking the screen.

Preparing to silkscreen the panel. Brian checks the registration of the screen. Laying down the paint for the lettering on one edge of the screen.

Pulling the paint across the screen. Multiple passes squeeze the paint through the open areas on the screen. The painted and silkscreened panel, cooling after baking the silkscreen paint on.

Special thanks to Avion Research, Inc., for letting me take part in the manufacture of my panel.
