RoboZen

Thanks to the gracious support of Adept Technology, Inc., who has provided a Viper 1300 robotic arm for this project, we are able to bring you an exciting exhibit for this year’s Maker Faire that blends art and technology.

RoboZen is a robotic Zen garden. The Viper will pick up and place rocks in a bed of sand, and then rake the bed, exploring clarity of thought and nature’s serenity.

Call for Participation

There is a lot of work to complete before Maker Faire. I’m looking for a Java developer experienced in Java desktop application UI coding and computational geometry. If you would like to participate, please contact me at rmann AT latencyzero DOT com. It’s not a big programming project, but I just have so many other things on my plate, I could use the help.
